For some reason the Chamber of Commerce and their family members have decided to take another shot at my business by posting false information and I felt compelled to set the record straight.
The item about the festivals on the Spring City workshop agenda for this evening has nothing to do with me. I didn't know anything about it, nor did I have any plans on going to the meeting. You are barking up the wrong tree. If anyone at the town says this is on the agenda because of me, please let me know who that is so we can discuss it.
My only complaint about Front St. being closed (some time ago) was the lack of notification - how do you close the Main St. and not tell the businesses? This happened 3 years running, starting almost 4 years ago, so when a Chamber of Commerce member says "he has been notified every time" just know this started before that person even worked there.
Several of their friends have decided to comment in their support, without knowing the facts. I am posting this for anyone seeking the truth. None of the people posting these comments about my business have been to any council meetings I have attended, so I am not sure where their information is coming from.
I find it ironic several of these people slinging mud solicited and received donations from me or my business for their cause or their children, and then they do this. This is what is wrong with social media. Don't learn the facts, just jump on the wagon and start slinging the mud.
Notice how I didn't use derogatory names or make suggestions about how someone doesn't know how to run a business - it is called being an adult.
