Wake up babe; new beer just dropped!

😈☕️ Devilish Critters Coffee Lager releases today at the brewery! We collaborated with to pick out the perfect blend for this lager. Toffee, chocolate, and bold roast notes combined with a light body makes an easy-drinking campfire sipper! 🔥

You can find this Coffee Schwarzbier at the brewery or in select bars and coffee shops near you!

Seth is all smiles after catching a sneak peak of Bulldogger- our Festbier- which releases this Friday at the brewery!

It’s our favorite time of year, and Oktoberfest Season is in full swing! Jessie and the boys were chomping at the bit to brew up a crisp lager for y’all to enjoy in this heat.

Pleasantly malty without being too sweet, with notes of lightly-toasted bread crust and a perfectly-balanced hop profile, our Festbier is one of our favorite seasonal brews! A dry finish helps this festive favorite to go down smooth at a firm but crushable 5.7% ABV. We know you’ll love this Oktoberfest-style beer just as much as our brewers do!

Anchovy hops?!? In beer?!?🤢😱

Last year, Bolten and Seth had the opportunity to do a sensory analysis on different varieties of hops as a part of routine training, and they even got to select a few that they want to experiment with. One variety in particular caught Bolten’s eye- Anchovy; a newer variety that seems to be rapidly gaining popularity. Don’t let the name fool you- there’s nothing fishy going on with this hop!

We recently had the chance to meet with the original cultivator of the Anchovy variety at CBC this year, and we were able to get our hands on a few pounds to experiment with after receiving some awesome advice from the growers themselves!

Yesterday the boys finally got a chance to brew a small batch of experimental IPA to play around with this hop and see what all the hubbub is about! Bolten whipped up a recipe for a Hazy IPA featuring 100% Anchovy hops and the boys got to work! We were incredibly impressed by the aromas straight out of the bag; watermelon hard candy and dank, resinous aromas hit you HARD as soon as you crack a pack. We’re so exactly to see what this hop has to offer, and we’re excited to share this beer with y’all in a few weeks at the brewery!

1. Mutton Buster Peach-Mango Smoothie - Fruited Smoothie-Style Sour with Peach and Mango (6.0% ABV)

2. BA Simulacra - Imperial Stout aged in Willet Bourbon Barrels (13.5% ABV)

3. Sassy - Hazy DDH Double IPA dry hopped with Citra, Galaxy, and Nelson Sauvin Cryo (8.5% ABV)

4. Shaka Shake - Milkshake IPA made with Pineapple, Orange, Vanilla bean, and toasted coconut (7.0% ABV)
