We’re happy to welcome students into the shop to study, work, read, or simply spend a few quiet hours with a good cup of coffee. We love being a safe place where people can settle in and make the most of their time.

And if you’re looking for a little more space, we have a large table available to rent. It’s a great option for study groups, group work, and meetings.

At First Avenue Coffee, the little details matter. That’s why we make our syrups in-house.

From the flavors we create to the ingredients that go into them, we want to know exactly what we’re putting into your cup. Making our syrups ourselves gives us the opportunity to be intentional with every ingredient, develop flavors that are uniquely ours, and create drinks that taste thoughtfully made from start to finish.

It takes a little more time and a little more work, but we believe that quality is worth the extra effort. Our house-made syrups are part of what allows us to keep experimenting, creating new combinations, and giving familiar favorites a First Avenue twist.

Coffee is more than just the beans in the cup. It’s the ingredients, the process, the craftsmanship, and the care that goes into bringing it all together.

That’s what we mean when we say craft coffee. And it’s why we’ll keep making our syrups in-house, one batch at a time. ☕️

Fall has officially arrived at First Avenue Coffee, and we’ve been working on a few drinks to make the season a little warmer. 🍂☕️

Our new fall menu is all about thoughtfully made flavors, with house-made syrups and sauces at the heart of every drink. We put time into developing each one because the ingredients matter, and we want every sip to feel intentional from the first taste to the last.

🍎 Apple Bourbon Latte
House-made apple syrup, Dry Fly bourbon syrup, double shot espresso, and your choice of milk.

🍯 Honey Cardamom Latte
House-made cardamom honey syrup, double shot espresso, and your choice of milk.

Join us this Friday as we continue to celebrate the work of Ulysses Mireles for another month! 🎨

These massive, large-scale pieces take over our walls and absolutely need to be experienced in person.

Ulysses’ exhibition, “Femme Magnifique,” explores that unforgettable look from a beautiful woman that can make you fall in love, even if only for a moment. Across eight carefully selected portraits, Ulysses captures the presence, emotion, and quiet power behind that moment.
