One of the busiest days of the year at both shops, but getting to celebrate with some of my very favorite flavors makes it all worth it.

Wellllll this is not how we wanted to end the year, but the universe had other plans.

Due to several unforeseen events, our last Free Dollar Dinner is being rescheduled for Friday.

Yesterday morning our walk in at Hidden Bagel quit on us and we lost a lot of food for the shops and for the dinners. We have repaired the walk-in and replaced everything, except the time it takes to recover from that kind of setback. We also have staff out sick, and after how hard everyone stepped up yesterday, we are not going to push it.

Thank you for the patience, the grace, and the support. It means everything. Here is to ending the year on a note of perseverance and stubborn hope.

See you Friday for a lemony chicken rice bake.
