Hey there Spokane, and welcome to the posty post for Saturday morning… I’m going to proofread this one at least once. 🫣 Did you know that tomorrow is the last Saturday in August?🤯… and also the first weekend of the new school year… In order to celebrate the new school year… we are going to make lots of kids favorites tomorrow…

Of course… we’ll have cheeseburgers…
and Wiggly Worms?… Absolutely we’ll have Wiggly Worms (Pictured below)

but we also have surprises too…

Emojis, and Party Poopers… and the ultimate surprise… cotton candy rings.🥳 (Pictured below)

And the surprises don't stop there... 🤫

Buttermilk bars will be made five ways tomorrow.

Oh yeah… also available for the huckleberry crowd… huckleberry fritters will be ready to rock and roll at 5am.

Now, as a surprise… I usually wait until after labor day to start pumpkin cake donuts… but I’ve got a feeling some of you might have a hankering for some a little earlier this year so... Pumpkin Cake will be ready tomorrow at 5am.

Alrighty, it is almost Friday… and tomorrow we are going to prepare for the upcoming fritter picker event. What is that? You might be asking yourself. I will explain in detail what that is later on.

But first the donuts…

Devil’s food cake donuts will be ready to roll at 5am, and they will be made 3 ways…
Double Chocolate
Emojis
German Chocolate… They’re back!

We will also be making the cherry fritters you have come to know, and love. Also bonus fritters🤫… we’ll talk about that later.

We are also going to have S’mores rings in order to keep with the theme for August which is… donut confusion month! Sorry about that folks… I’m back on track

I’m going to work on fritter things tomorrow… revisiting older fritter flavors and every flavor requires a little bit different razzle dazzle, and I need to make sure I remember what I remember. Peach and Hot Tamale… a must try if you like Cinnamon Altoids, and fritter style donuts. 😉 They will also be part of the Fritter Picking event I have planned September.

Also gluten friendly will be good to go in the morning, and I’m feeling odd so five flavors will be available tomorrow.

On to the Fritter Picker Event… starting the 2nd weekend in September we are going to be making 3 extra fritter flavors for anyone who wants a new option… it will give everyone 3 chances/days to try them out. The most popular from each weekend will then go head to head… to head to find out which of them will be added to the schedule for the coming year. I did make a graphic, and I did shorten the layout of the tournament from what it says simply to speed up the process.

Happy Tuesday Spokane... it's time to talk about Wednesday donuts... and I've got to make this short because I'm writing it on my phone. Normally there's not much to talk about when it comes to Wednesday donuts.

Tomorrow is going to be different because... Rachel is going to make her brand new... pumpkin yeast donuts... I personally recommend the maple icing.

After that are the lemon- blueberry fritters

Happy Saturday Spokane… and surrounding areas. I hope everything is going well for you. We are done at the shop for today, and now, I’ve got my mind on my donuts, and donuts on my mind. It’s time to get the Sunday donut ideas out of my mind, and onto the internet for everyone to see.

What could go wrong?

Let’s start with the French crullers… they are airy, crispy, and will be made five different ways, and here they are...

Samoa
Glazed
Chocoate
Pistachio Cream
Huckleberry

We are now going to move onto another huckleberry donut... Huckleberry fritters, and we will also have apple fritters too if you so choose… in case you don’t like to venture too far off the path of classic donuts.

Pistachio are next on the list of donut goodness. It’s a chocolate ring with pistachio cream, and crushed waffle cone for a little bit of crispy crunchies on top.

As a surprise, I’m going to make the Mochi donuts tomorrow, and I’ll make the top four flavors for you, or someone you know who like Mochi style donuts. In case you’ve never had them… they are donut with the chewy texture of a marshmallow. (I’m not good with words people.) 🫣

I did it... I did it... I made a bracket... every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we will have 3 extra fritters to try... after the three days we will see which flavor each weekend sold the most and/or fastest, most feedback... the top 2 will get another shot on TBD dates.

Mark your calendars.
