We are hiring one full-time barista, 21 years or older, coffee experience required, for primarily closing shifts which will eventually go until after midnight at least two nights a week.
This is the only time that I will ever do a digital application, because I absolutely know you guys are going to overwhelm me 😅
This job will involve lifting things 40 lb or more, talking to people all day long, dealing with my chaos and helping me remember things and create systems to build success for our next hires.
I won't always require experience, it's important to me to be a place where people can learn new skills too, but this time I am.

I'm offering store credit at my bookstore for anyone who lost their home in the fires ❤️📚

$200+ store credit for any family that lost their home in the recent fires in Spokane and the surrounding area ❤️ We have an obligation to our community to help rebuild. We can't build you a house, or give you back what was lost, but we can set up funds for every single family to begin to rebuild their collections of books, movies and games. 📚❤️ We will give $200 credit to each account and then I have a feeling our community will help make that number rise 😊
If you lost your house, please reach out to us so we can set up your fund. If you would like to donate , please reach out to us and let us know if you have someone specific you want to donate to or if we should put it in the general funds to be distributed among all of the recipients.

Let's see if the algorithm prefers my highly edited time-intensive videos or this 45 second shot of me painting a dragon 😂✌️ I'm really enjoying all of the detail work that comes with putting together a cafe like this, today I'm painting dragons on some of the dining room chairs simply because it makes me happy 🌠

Why a fantasy cafe? 🌠 When I was younger, my household wasn't allowed to watch or read content that had any magic in it. I was so drawn to that genre that I snuck books home from the school library and read them in secret. 📚 Running my bookstore with my best friend for the last 7 years has shown me that you can build a life that gives you joy and keeps you afloat, I want to bring some magic to Spokane and create a safe and restful place for people to gather.
