Jonathan Tuttle knows how tough it is to fight wildfires. He spent a week at the Spokane Fire Camp as a member of the AMR Wildfire Medical Deployment Team. He’ll tell you good food can be hard to come by.

That’s where Longhorn Barbecue catering comes in. Jonathan couldn’t wait to tell his wife, Ashley, about the Southern Pit style barbecue meal we delivered to fire crews and first responders.

“I sent her a text after I had some food, and I was like, hey, don't know if you still have some friends at Longhorn Barbecue, but if you do, tell them thanks for me,” Jonathan said.

We catered a buffet with ribs, sausage, potato salad, and more for Johnathan and the fire crews.

“My husband was deployed on the fires and asked me to deliver a message of thanks to Longhorn Barbecue," said Ashley.

We are proud to serve the men and women who stood against the firestorm. Glad you liked our southern ribs and hospitality.

We’re dishing up Southern Texas pit-style barbecue with our partners, the West Valley Kiwanis, at the Spokane County Interstate Fair.

West Valley Kiwanis members work at the fair’s Longhorn Outpost – a permanent booth used to not only quell your barbecue cravings but also raise money for students, families, and neighbors in need of help. Longhorn Barbecue pays the West Valley Kiwanis club for the hours its members work. The club, in turn, uses that money for scholarships, grants, and its community service.

Thank you, West Valley Kiwanis, for believing in Longhorn Barbecue, and for allowing us to help you pay it forward.
