We had fun at the Headwaters Monster Mash 5k this morning, congratulations to all the participants!! We're back at the Schoolhouse. But the weather is less than optimal for ice cream. We might close up around 3 because they're calling for scattered showers for the rest of the day and into tomorrow.

We will play tomorrow by ear as well. Do for the inconvenience, but we know from experience that even if it stopped raining, overcast days and ice cream trucks don't mix well.

UPDATE!! WE'RE OPEN!! I'm sorry, this new update never saved, but we're back, we had something unexpected happen and we had to gather ourselves first. Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience.

It might be a tad windy out, but we're open and ready to serve you! We're back at the Sperryville Schoolhouse today until around 6ish (it's how dark it is getting by 7 now).

It's a beautiful day in Castleton for the John Jackson Piedmont Blues Festival! The cell signal and wifi are very spotty, our Square reader is struggling to keep a signal, so if you're planning on coming to listen to some great tunes and enjoy some food and ice cream, cash is preferred, but we'll make it work if you don't bring cash. We're off to the John Jackson Piedmont Blues Festival in Castleton! But in case I don't have a signal over there, let me announce that we have a *NEW* fall flavor!

We will have it at the festival today. We have just a very limited amount of peach left that will probably be out today. We are sorry for all the peach lovers, we have to sacrifice a flavor to bring in this one and we thought that with summer in the books it was the choice to swap.

Tomorrow you can find Yukon's Treats at the John Jackson Piedmont Blues Festival, this year in Castleton! We will NOT be at the Sperryville Schoolhouse all day tomorrow, but we will be returning for Sunday. Please note this year's festival is NOT at Eldon Farms this year.

This weekend's schedule will be as follows:

🍁 Friday, September 25th: Closed

🍁 Saturday, September 26th:
John Jackson Piedmont Blues Festival at Castleton Meadows
7 Meadows Lane, Castleton, VA 22716

🍁 Sunday, September, 27th:
Sperryville Schoolhouse
12:30-6:30ish (it's getting darker earlier)

For clarification, we ARE OPEN today until 7. Or if it turns into a washout...

Hey y'all. This weather this year has definitely not been the best for running a food truck of any sorts. We have been hit with oppressive heat, rain on a lot of weekends, and everything in-between. Sprinkle in the cost of everything going up, we hear ya and understand, but we also miss you...

The weather looks very iffy out there today. It's not raining now, but it could. But it does show that it's overcast all day as well which also turns people away. We will probably open for now, but if the weather starts to turn we may pack up. Our sincere apologies if we close up early or not at all on some days. We really try to accommodate everyone, but there are sometimes and some things that pop up that we need to close up early. So sorry for any inconvenience.

Okay that's all for now, we hope to see you soon Sperryville! Come early and beat the rain we may or might not get and to get your favorite before it's out, we're low on a couple until next week.

Happy almost Fall y'all! With summer and the sunsets winding down, we will be adjusting our hours to accommodate that.

This weekend's hours will be:

🍁 Saturday, September 19th 12:00 - 7:00 (no Farmer's Market)
🍁 Sunday, September 20th 12:30 - 7:00

Please note that we might have to close after 3:00 on Sunday because the weather apps are calling for multiple thunderstorms.

We are moving Fill Up Friday to Stock Up Saturday/ Sunday. If you bring your clean and empty 32-40 oz insulated tumbler with a lid, we'll take care of you. 😊
