Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who came out tonight to celebrate Sue and show her just how much she is loved. Seeing so many familiar faces, hearing all the wonderful memories, and watching everyone come together for her made this a night we will never forget.

Sue, thank you for nearly 40 years of hard work, kindness, laughter, and love you gave to The Hilltop and every person who walked through our doors. You are truly one of a kind, and The Hilltop will never be the same without you.

We love you, Sue! Enjoy every minute of your retirement—you’ve certainly earned it! ❤️

🎉❤️ THE DAY IS HERE ! TOMORROW WE CELEBRATE SUE CARPENTER! ❤️🎉

After nearly 40 incredible years of serving generations of families at The Hilltop Restaurant, tomorrow is Sue Carpenter’s retirement party—and we are going to send this amazing woman off the right way!

We already have more than 200 reservations, and our dining room only seats around 100 people. We kindly ask everyone to be courteous and allow us to turn the tables so as many people as possible get the chance to eat, visit with Sue and enjoy Lloyd Wood!

We know everyone will want to stay, visit and enjoy the celebration—and we want you to! Once you finish your meal, please feel free to continue hanging out at picnic tables, on the patio and around the property. Let’s fill the entire Hilltop with love for Sue!

The evening will end with a moment that will live on forever as Sue hangs her apron on The Hilltop wall, honoring the incredible legacy she leaves behind after so many years of serving our community.

That storm hit Spencer and the surrounding area hard last night, and we know a lot of families are still without power.

The Hilltop has power and the kitchen is ready! 🍽️ 🥩 🍗 open 4-8pm

And it just happens to be KIDS EAT FREE WEDNESDAY! 🎉

Come on up, get out of the house, cool off and enjoy a good Hilltop family-style meal. And don’t forget your chargers our wall tables have outlets, so if you need to charge your phones, tablets or other devices while you eat, plug them in! 🔌📱
