We’ve been overwhelmed by the love, prayers, and messages of support from our community over the past few days. 💛

After the recent accident, we’ve been reminded just how powerful community truly is. While this setback has been tough, we’re focused on rebuilding, recovering, and coming back even stronger than before.

So many of you have asked how you can help. We’ve created a GoFundMe to support the rebuilding of our food truck and help us get back to doing what we love—serving great food and showing up for our community.

Last night was definitely one for the books.

What started as a normal Thursday booking—providing lunch for a local warehouse’s third shift—took an unexpected and frightening turn. I want to be very clear: we have been a fully registered, licensed South Carolina vendor for years. This was not an unregulated food truck situation.

According to first responders and fire inspectors, the extreme cold caused moisture to form inside my gas line, which ultimately led to an explosion. Yes, I was inside at the time—and thankfully, I was the only one. I walked away with minor injuries and burns, and for that alone, I am incredibly grateful.

I can’t thank my family, friends, and team enough for immediately stepping up and helping cover upcoming caterings while I recover. This is definitely a setback, but the fact that I’m here, alive, and able to move forward is a blessing I won’t take lightly.

Thank you to everyone who has checked in, sent prayers, and shown support. We truly appreciate it and will keep you updated on what’s next.

7 for 7 since Saturday closing it out in Asheville today! Every catering went perfectly and we are beyond blessed to still have more for the 2025 season. Huge thanks to all the amazing Vet clinics this week for National Vet week thank you all for booking us and keeping our littles ones healthy!
