🚨READ‼️Operational update‼️🚨
Rarely I do back-to-back weekends… but I know a lot of people missed out last time 💚🇯🇲(Next sale date 5/24 12-4.. Will post menu tomorrow)
So here are a few things that will be implemented effective immediately to help things run smoother for everyone:
1. NEW order sheets — this will make it easier to select your items, easier for the person taking payments, and definitely easier for the servers.
2. Pop-up tents, outside fans, and complimentary water will be available while you wait in line.
3. There will be a table with menu sheets & pens available before and throughout the line. Reminder: ONE sheet per plate.. and return my pens. I had 100 pens and only got back 33
4. A whiteboard will be placed before the line showing all SOLD OUT items. I will also comment under my live throughout the day whenever an item sells out.
5. Once I officially sell out, I’ll comment the exact time under my live as well.
Last week I sold out at 4:05 PM because while items were selling out, I was still cooking more in the back. Some people thought I was sold out by 2:30, and that wasn’t the case.
Now you’ll be able to check the comments on my live before heading to the location.
6. Please, if you choose to arrive 1–2 hours before opening, do not include that in your wait time. Also, if you arrive early, please do not have friends skip the line later when they show up. It’s simply not fair to everyone else waiting.
7. No preorders. I understand people are traveling from Charlotte, Anderson, Union, Columbia, etc . I appreciate y’all, but I also appreciate the people that live five minutes away and still come early to make sure they get what they want.
8. I support a lot of local bakers out here out of my pocket, to be able to provide complementary dessert with your meal. Please do not debate on which dessert you should get.
9. I will not be limiting the number of plates you can order overall. HOWEVER, I will be limiting the amount of oxtail and chitterlings plates per person.
One person cannot buy 10 chitterlings plates or 6 oxtail plates while others who waited hours leave without one. It’s not fair to the customers, and it’s not fair to me, when I’m already doubling my meat to try and serve everyone.
I cook all of my food fresh. I do have help prepping, but to keep the authentic flavor and the love in the food… I cook everything myself!!!
