Thanks everyone for your kind words. I am the owner. I don’t think I’ve told anyone what really made this place the greatest. I’ve been in business for over 45 years. I can remember having an issue with a certain employee I got to the point were I became so exhausted. With them. I had just gotten a call about another issue with that employee on my day off so I went out to the garage so frustrated and I told God I’m giving this restaurant to you. I can’t do this anymore so I surrendered all the very next day I noticed my sales were doubled that day and every day since then it has doubled. God had blessed me so much and the strange thing is, I never asked for that !as I learn through my journey, surrendering all is the key to everything and I had realized that’s what God wants us all to do is to give it all to him .And trust in him.So me and my twin sister Sheila started a bible study with any employee who wanted to study with us.We had 7 employees total started coming to the Bible study and my son Joshua . over this time all of the girls got saved during the Bible study and were baptized in the Country Skillet parking lot in a big barrel which was so neat . I didn’t mean to take so long for this reply. I just felt like now. I would like to tell my story of the restaurant it has brought in so many customers that actually became our family and we love them all. It is a special place to come. We have been busy at times that some people would have to sit with others at the tables and they became friends with each other, which made us so unique I have had children that were babies come to see me when they were 18 and 21 and that is a blessing in itself. I just wanna thank everyone for keeping us in business and loving us so I welcome anyone  that would like to join our family here and it’s not about the tips that we get or the money we make .when we show you kindness it is real. We actually do care for our customers. I didn’t sit out to write this, but when I read all the great reviews, I felt lead to tell my story. I have been a Waitresss since I was 16 years old.And I love meeting people . just this week I’ve had two customers ask why do you still Waitresss and Cook? You are the owner ?and I never realize that at all until I heard that this week .I guess I just love my job! So it’s not just about the food here, it’s the welcoming atmosphere and the kindness that we share with one another.So if your looking for a place with great food and you are recognize when you come in and where everybody knows your name then come give us a try.You want be sorry that you did!
