Written in 1993 at the direction of Admiral Frank Kelso, the Sailor’s Creed is given to every Navy recruit and committed to memory as a reminder of who they are and why they serve. Rooted in Honor, Courage, and Commitment, the Creed emphasizes respect for others, pride in service, and dedication to excellence. It guides Sailors not only in their duties, but in how they carry themselves as representatives of the United States Navy.

Meet Kayla Cramer, Our Teammate Ambassador in Clermont, FL. Kayla first learned about MISSION BBQ when her best friend, Jenny, had us cater her wedding. She joined Our Team shortly thereafter, excited to SERVE Our Hometown Heroes and Veterans. She became Our Teammate Ambassador after Clermont opened, and has really enjoyed taking care of Our Teammates, which has evolved as her WHY! Kayla loves creating fun memories, celebrating Our Teammates, and making them feel special. We are so proud to have Kayla on Our Teammate Ambassador Team. She is one of the Shining S.T.A.R.S. of MISSION BBQ!

Logan Oglesby joined MISSION BBQ in 2016 as a Prep Cook, fulfilling a dream he’d had since kindergarten of working in a professional kitchen. As he grew within Our Company, mentors challenged him to step outside his comfort zone and discover that great leadership begins with Serving others. Learning the Front of the House became a turning point in his journey, helping him grow into the leader he is today—General Manager of Our Grand Rapids, MI Restaurant. We are so proud to have Logan on Our Team!
