Today is a very special day for all of us at Kahill’s Restaurant & Pub. ❤️

October 5th not only marks 22 years of Kahill’s at 1791 N. Mecklenburg Ave., but most importantly, it is the Heavenly Birthday of the woman behind the name — Kayhill Flowers. 🕊️❤️
Here’s a little Kahill’s history that makes this day even more meaningful…
Our original opening day was actually supposed to be October 4th. But the night before we were set to open our doors, a water line busted and flooded the hallway. What could have been a disaster turned into a long night of everyone pulling together. The guys worked through the night repairing the damage so that we could finally open our doors the next day — October 5th.
Some may call it a coincidence, but we’ve always believed it was the Good Lord Himself making sure Kahill’s opened on Momma’s birthday. ❤️
And now, 22 years later, here we are.
Through all the years, all the changes, the good times and the hard ones, the friendships made, the employees who became family, and the countless customers who have walked through our doors — Kahill’s is still standing, and Momma’s name is still shining above those doors.
Happy Heavenly Birthday, Kayhill Flowers. 🕊️
And Happy 22nd Anniversary to Kahill’s Restaurant & Pub! 🎉
We are forever grateful for the memories, the people who have supported us, and the blessings that have carried us through these 22 years.
Here’s to Momma, to 22 years, and to many more memories still to come. ❤️
We truly believe October 5th was always meant to be our day
