Today, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on one of our own — Reid Blackwell, our Spotlight! 🌟

Reid’s journey is exactly what 313 Franklin is all about. He started in the dishroom, proving himself as a hard worker he worked his way to expo, and now he is cooking on the line. This is proving that through his hard work, consistency, and a great attitude he can do anything.

We asked Reid some questions -

What have you done while being here?
I started off bussing, and then I went to the expo line, and then at the back of the house. I did it, I've done dishes, and now I am currently on the line for cooking right now. Awesome, so
you've done just about everything, almost everything.

Reid, how has this job helped you outside of work?
Definitely increased my work ethic, and like kind of told me that small things matter. Also to get things done instead of procrastinating, and I just, I just love working, I love cleaning, and I just love seeing my hard work come out good.

So, what would you say to somebody who was your age because you started at 15, right?
I would say that this is probably one of the best jobs, like in the restaurant business, and especially this restaurant, because everyone here is so kind and patient with you to start. It's better than any other job, because they're just like, you know, the best for teachers.
