Hi all, this is Alex. I’ve been thinking a lot about my mom this past weekend and wanted to extend love to you all for Mother’s Day ❤️

Happy Songkran ❤️

Songkran is the Thai solar new year and water festival that is also celebrated throughout Southeast Asia April 13-15. Though it is known for the giant water fight and celebration, it’s about reconnecting with family and cleansing away any bad luck with water for the new year ahead. My fondest memories as a kid at the temple was pouring water into the hands of the monks and getting soaked with a hose!

Songkran was the name my mom chose for her restaurant in Daytona Beach after Tap Tim Siam in LA. I like to think my mom starting her new life in FL called for such a fitting name. Happy Songkran and I hope all my friends who celebrate have a beautiful day and luck for the new year 🩵

Yesterday’s market was a little rainy and we over prepped. ❤️ We have about 120 uncooked spring rolls. If you’d like to buy them for your Easter party and pick them up at the restaurant tomorrow, Saturday 03/30 message us here on FB.

Ormond Beach Farmers Market

This Thursday 03/28 will be our last Ormond Beach Farmers Market for the foreseeable future ❤️ Celia and I are making extra food, I’m bringing totes, and we hope you’re able to visit us!

I hit the ground running in December and thought if I did this and kept trying I could do it. But I’ve hit a wall, I’m overwhelmed to say the least. Celia is also expecting 💕 she’s due in late May and we both agree we’re closing a chapter and it’s time to start anew. I’m hoping to pop up in orlando sometimes but for now it’s time to rest and cruise.

Thank you for your support and having Songkran, my mom, Celia, and me for the past decade until now. We love you all so much and I know my mom is happy to know we’ve continued as best as we could. Stay tuned and see you tomorrow ♥️
