Our market is canceled tmrw due to the heat index 🥵

Fort Ben Farmers Market Canceled Thursday, Sept. 3

Due to an extreme weather forecast with an expected heat index well over 100 degrees, this week’s Fort Ben Farmers Market on Thursday, Sept. 3, has been canceled.

The safety of our vendors, staff, and community members is our top priority, and the projected heat makes it unsafe to operate the market.

Thank you for understanding, and we look forward to seeing you at the market next week.

Grateful to celebrate graduating from the Two Degrees Cohort. 👏🏽
This experience really got me back to the basics of entrepreneurship while also pushing me to think strategically about the future of Fancy Delights.✨️
👩🏾‍🍳Catering our graduation luncheon with Italian muffalettas, brown butter chocolate chip cookies, chips, and lemonade was such an honor. Each month, I also provided desserts and beverages for our monthly Power Moves sessions.🙌🏽
Thank you to everyone who made this program possible, and to my fellow cohort members for the support and inspiration. Excited for the next chapter 🤗

I had my interview earlier this week with the Gainbridge Fieldhouse about the upcoming guest chef program and I went well.

We partnered with Indiana State Fair on the behalf of theblackchefscollective organization which I serve as co-chair.
I was able to bring my crew to give them more exposure, experience and help build their work ethic.
Everything went well and they were honored to have us.
It was my pleasure to have the opportunity to be apart of the state fair 🙏🏾 ✨️🎪

Market Update ⚠️ The remainder of today’s Fishers Farmers Market is canceled. Our market is always rain or shine to best support our vendors and those relying on them to shop fresh and local, but unfortunately the weather was not on our side today with consistent lightning in the area.

Please join us next week (8/22) for Safety Day with the Fishers Fire Department!
