I guess this weekend will be the first summer gigs. Oh well, the beer is cold and the air conditioning is working.

On Friday night the OASIS PLAYERS return and have some new tunes for you. The starting lineup with be Jess Emery on guitar and lead vocals, Jeff Wright on bass and lead vocals, Dave Pettengill on drums and lead vocals and Kim Teel up front on lead vocals. All four sing and which makes this band unique. Come see us Friday night for an entertaining show.

On Saturday night we have Aaron Lightnin and Raleigh Estes from the band, PARADOXX, performing as a duo. Both are lead singers and great guitar players. They cover all your favorite songs. Put us on your schedule for Saturday night!

This coming Friday night we have SPEED LIMIT 70 returning to the Oasis Saloon. They are one of the premier bands in Central Florida. Susan Watkins fronts this band and she is a superb vocalist. Her husband, Thomas, plays lead guitar and also adds lead vocals. All members of the band are talented musicians and have played many gigs together. They are a pro band and very entertaining.

On Saturday night the band takes a break, but Thomas Watkins is back with his solo performance. Thomas stays busy as his solo act is in high demand. You will enjoy his show.

We just want to thank all of you who came out to celebrate GEEZER PALOOZA 80 with us. By any standard it was a party to remember. HYPERSONA was on fire -- many thanks to Eric, Frank and Dave.

PARADO###, featuring Aaron Lightnin on lead vocals, will perform on Friday night. We have had a lot of interest in this band since they last played in March. They are awesomely talented and you will love their show!

On Saturday night we have the SHAMELESS NAMEDROPPERS which is a duo with Mark McDowell on lead guitar and vocals and the one and only Meg McCauley on lead vocals. They usually play without a set list and just play requests. So come play stump the band!

So it's Chuck's 80th birthday. The fact that we are having it is nothing short of amazing. Yes, the party is on --GEEZER PALOOZA 80! When you get a little older you slow down a little. It is no longer possible to to get the party done in just a day. Naps are essential, so we have to stretch this party out to a three day event.

Starting Thursday night we have our own OASIS PLAYERS. This is a band we put together as a fun project with some of the best musicians in the area. Both of our guitar players -- Jordan Itzkovitz and Jess Emery will be there along with Jeff Wright on bass, Dave Pettengill on drums. All four are excellent players and all four sing. To top it off we have Kim Teel up front on lead vocals. This sexy lady can sing! If you can make it out on Thursday night we know you will have a good time.

On Friday and Saturday nights HYPERSONA will play. We know most of you have heard them play -- total pros. Dave Rankin will be on lead guitar and he is a shredder. Frank McDaniel plays bass and he lays it down. Eric Frates is the heart and soul of the band and one of the best drummers anywhere. What really sets HYPERSONA apart is all three members have lead vocals. Also, they cover everything from country to here and now tunes.

If you are a musician who has played at the Oasis and aren't busy with a gig, please join us Friday and/or Saturday. We might twist your arm to get up and jam with HYPERSONA.

OVERDRIVE returns to the Oasis this coming Friday, May 29th. They are a talented band and always keep the audience engaged. They keep it lively so party on!

Saturday night JESS EMERY will be serving up the live music. JESS EMERY plays guitar and does lead vocals. He performs solo, in a duo as THE ESSENTIALS and in his band OUT OF THE BLUE. Jess is one of our favorite performers at the Oasis Saloon.

We originally had 2 AM scheduled but due to medical reasons they are unable to play. Our good friend DANE COLBERT has agreed to step in and help us out. Dane always delivers an entertaining performance and gets the audience involved. Join Dane at the Oasis this Friday night!

The SHAMELESS NAMEDROPPERS take the stage on Saturday night. They are known for being able to play almost any request so have some fun playing stump the band.

Three nights of live music for you this week.

The OASIS PLAYERS will be back on stage Thursday evening -- Jess Emery on guitar/vocals, Jeff Wright on bass/vocals, Dave Pettengil on drums/vocals and the one and only Kim Teel on lead vocals. They are all very good musicians and they've added a lot of new tunes -- so start your weekend early at the Oasis Saloon.

Friday night Kim Teel returns along with Jordan Itzkovitz as a duo. Jordan is a superb guitar player and vocalist and pairs well with Kim for some great harmonies.

The ZACK DENBY TRIO makes their first appearance of the year at the Oasis on Saturday night. Zack is one of the best young musicians out there and he puts on a very entertaining show. His past performances at the Oasis have always had good reviews. Mark your calendar for Saturday and the ZACK DENBY TRIO.
