please join the pizza pirates and wineworkers as we say bon voyage to griffin on his last day of service in the pizza wagon. he worked his way from dishwasher through all of the stations of the wagon… he now makes a mighty fine pie. griffin leaves his pizza pursuits here for collegiate callings in colorado. he’s come a long way. we’re excited to see how much further he goes. and we will certainly miss him. pic 1 = last day (today) before starting college. pic 2 = last day of summer before starting high school. pic 3 = family day in the pizza wagon circa 2022

chili peppers coming into season… so the sycamore fire is here for a bit. on the menu today until it isn’t: smoked mozzarella, caciocavallo, seasonal chili pepper, speck. thankfully a mild wildfire season around here. still sending some cash from sales to woodland firefighter foundation. come and get it. peppers will change as season changes, so that’s cool 🌶️❤️🍕

it’s corn! and friends! on pizza! corn season sneaked up on us… all the yucca flowers in sonoita wine country are in bloom. we offer an opportunity to consume the moment. here until it isn’t: roasted corn, pickled wild yucca flower, cheese, crema, pickled pepper, cilantro, smoked paprika. getting along real nice with a glass of pink and whatever delightful weather this is. plan your weekend accordingly 🍕❤️💥

it’s a cheese pizza! fighting entropy with evolution - we’d like to believe that we’ve learned a thing or two since we started a sourdough starter in the barrel room at dos cabezas wineworks as harvest 2020 was winding down. this winter we dedicated time to application of knowledge acquired for purposes of pizza improvement. the result is refined pizza dough featuring a healthy dollop of hayden flour mills white sonoran wheat. we like it. you should check it out 🌾🍕💥
