The Burren opened its doors in 1996 by Husband and wife musicians Tommy and Louise McCarthy. The Burren is known for its great Food, Music, atmosphere and friendly staff. Since day one The Burren has held the title for selling the most Guinness in America.

We’re deeply saddened to hear of the passing of the legendary Paddy Keenan.

We were incredibly fortunate to welcome Paddy to Tunes on Grand Turk two years ago, and we’ll always be grateful for the music, stories and memories he shared with us during his time on the island.

One of the great uilleann pipers, Paddy leaves behind an extraordinary legacy in Irish traditional music that will live on through the countless musicians he inspired.

Here’s a look back at a very special visit to Grand Turk.
