Mangia Bella Pizza and Pasta opened their doors in Whitehouse, Nj 11 years ago by owner and operator Giovanni Finazzo. We are a family operated business. It’s honestly CRAZY to us how far our reach has become. 🍕❤️

Today we had a couple guys make the trip all the way from Bucks County, PA just to come see us and grab a couple of our bar pies! 🔥

Think about that… crossing state lines for pizza. 😂🤌

We’re just a family-run pizzeria in Hunterdon County doing what we’ve always done—showing up every day, making good food, and trying to make every pizza better than the last.

To see people driving from different towns, counties, and now different STATES to try what we’re doing… that means more to us than you guys probably realize.

To everyone who has watched our videos, shared our posts, tagged a friend, left a review, or told somebody “you gotta try this place” — YOU are the reason our name keeps traveling. 🙏❤️

There’s a reason these things have become one of our most popular pies. Thin, crispy, cheesy, saucy, and cooked with that perfect little crunch around the edges. 🍕🤌

What started as “let’s add a bar pie” quickly turned into “you better not ever take this off the menu.” 😂

Seeing a few complaints on the Nextdoor app (which I can’t respond on as apparently I’m not verified) and I figured I would address some things I’ve seen here, on our public profile.

1: Price

$19 for a large cheese pizza going up form $18.50 over the last 3 years really is not insane or unfair at all. Raw materials have gone up significantly. Not to mention we are using a significantly more expensive no bleach or bromate flour.

Rents have gone up, insurance has gone up, utilities have gone up, and I’m sure this is knowledgeable for everyone. We don’t get discounts because we are a business, ours are 2-3x what a household is.

2: Size of the pizza (really?) and quality of product.

First of all, 90% of what we make here is handmade, Especially obviously the pizza. In a handmade product there are always variances, so maybe it’s .5in small one in a while? Possibly.

But I can guarantee you that you aren’t getting a 14” pizza when you order a 16” pizza, this isn’t shrinkflation and I’m certainly not out to take advantage of anyone. Complain to the big cooperations that are doing that to you, not the mom and pop shops.

Quality: NEVER EVER have we cut quality for profits. I will put my distributor order against 90% of places around here and you’ll see how much we make from scratch. From the meatballs, to the chicken, to the eggplant, and even fresh wings to name a few. It’s all all made here.

Our flour is $4-5 a bag minimum more than the one others are using, our cheese is a top quality, our sauce is a top quality, and our knowledge is a top quality.

So please, in the end, if anyone has any questions comments or concerns always reach out to your local establishment before posting online. Because you only show one side of the story that way and it’s not fair to the hardworking men and women who get up everyday to take care of you.
