❤️ THANK YOU, SOMERSWORTH! ❤️
Thankful doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel about all of our amazing customers, and somehow, simply saying “thank you” just doesn’t feel like enough.
After more than a year of pouring our hearts into The Bakery at Somersworth and working what has felt like 24/7, Ryan and I have made the very difficult decision that it’s time for us to step away. Our children need us to be more present, and we know it’s time for our family to slow down a little and redirect our focus in other ways.
This decision is incredibly bittersweet. Because of YOU, we were able to create such a special little café right in the heart of Somersworth — something we are truly so proud of. What started as a dream became a place filled with familiar faces, conversations, laughter, friendships, and so many memories that we will carry with us long after we leave.
We have been incredibly lucky to have customers who didn’t just come in to buy a coffee, bagel, or sweet treat. You came back week after week, brought your families and friends, celebrated special occasions with us, supported us, recommended us, shared our posts, and allowed us to become a small part of your lives. Some of you quickly became much more than customers, and that is something we will never forget.
This Saturday will officially be our last day as the owners of The Bakery at Somersworth. We will be closing our doors as we transfer the bakery to a new owner. We are so excited that this little space will continue on, and as soon as the new owners have their page ready, we will share it here so you can continue to follow and support them!
But before we say goodbye, we’re going out the only way we know how — with FULL CASES! 🧁🍪🥯
We’re planning to fill the bakery with as many of your favorites as we possibly can — bagels, muffins, cupcakes, brownies, cookies, tarts, scones, and so much more! We want our final weekend to be filled with all the things you’ve come to know and love from us.

Saturday, we’ll keep going until the cases are empty!
So please come see us one last time. Come grab your favorites, share a memory, give us a hug, say hello and goodbye, and help us celebrate what has been an unforgettable chapter for our family.
Owning this bakery has been exhausting, exciting, stressful, rewarding, chaotic, and absolutely unforgettable. There have been early mornings, very late nights, endless baking, and plenty of moments when we wondered how we were going to get everything done — but seeing all of you walk through our doors made it worth it.
To every single person who purchased something, placed an order, told a friend about us, shared a post, left a kind review, stopped in just to say hello, or supported our family in any way: thank you from the bottom of my heart.
We could never have done this without you.
Somersworth, thank you for giving our little bakery a home. Thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and giving our family memories we will cherish forever.
We hope to see so many of you Friday and Saturday for one last weekend together. ❤️
