Thankful for the village I live in. I take a lot of pride when I tell people where I live and where my business is.

I want to thank the Village of Solvay Electric Dept for installing the lighting in the parking lot across from Scoops! It’s brighter, safer, and allows us to showcase our village through live entertainment, great ice cream, soon to be coffee, car shows, jeep nights, food trucks, and to all our customers.

As a lifelong Solvay resident, this one is incredibly special to me. What started as a dream has become a reality because of the support, encouragement, and excitement from so many people in our community.

I can’t thank you enough!

Whether you’re coming for our home made black raspberry yogurt twisted with our red raspberry sherbet, one of our 44 premium hard ice cream flavors, a delicious hot fudge sundae, a flurry, a banana split, or just to check the place out, we are so excited to serve this community and do our best to make every visit a great one.

Now let’s eat some ice cream!

🍨✨ Scoopers in Training! ✨🍨

Today our amazing Scoopers took their training to the next level and learned how to create some of our delicious specialty sundaes! From drizzling hot fudge and caramel to adding the perfect finishing touches, these young adults are working hard to make sure every customer gets an incredible experience when we open our doors.

We couldn’t be more proud of this group. They are eager to learn, full of energy, and already showing what great customer service looks like. The ice cream skills are coming along nicely, but what really stands out is their positive attitude and excitement to serve our community.

Meet the Scoopers of Scoops!

Today was a great day at Scoops Ice Cream Shoppe! For many of these incredible young adults, it was the very first time they ever swirled a soft-serve cone—and they absolutely crushed it!

While learning how to serve the perfect cone is important, what excites us even more is helping these amazing young men and women learn how to create an unforgettable customer experience.

Over the next several days, we’ll be training on everything from smiles and hospitality to teamwork and serving our community with excellence.

As a locally owned family business, we believe great ice cream is only part of the recipe. Friendly faces, genuine kindness, and making every guest feel welcome are what truly make a place special. We couldn’t be more proud of this group and the enthusiasm they’ve already shown.

Opening day is getting closer, and we can’t wait for you to meet the team that will be serving up your favorite Perry’s Ice Cream, soft serve, sundaes, and smiles!

Be sure to give our Scoopers a big welcome when the doors open—these kids are working hard and doing an amazing job! 🎉🍦

🎉🍦The countdown is on, Solvay! 🍦🎉

We wanted to give everyone a quick update as we continue making progress toward opening Scoops Ice Cream Shoppe!

✅ The A/C system is scheduled to be installed on Monday.
✅ Exterior painting and lighting installation continue around the building perimeter.
✅ Our side lot is being leveled this week so we can add picnic tables and create a fun outdoor space for families and friends to enjoy.
✅ Staff training begins this week, led by my sister, as we focus on delivering the most incredible customer service experience possible.

We are tentatively aiming for an opening during the week of June 22nd, but as many of you know, it all depends on the progress made this week with the remaining construction and finishing touches.

We cannot thank this community enough for your patience, encouragement, and excitement. Every day brings us one step closer to serving up premium icecream, creating memories, and becoming a gathering place for our neighbors and friends.

Today was a pretty exciting day at Scoops Ice Cream Shoppe! We took delivery of 264 gallons of Perry’s Premium Hard Ice Cream, and let me tell you—it’s looking absolutely delicious! From classic favorites to some incredible specialty flavors, our dipping cabinets are quickly filling up with the premium ice cream that so many of you have been asking about.

Every delivery, every piece of equipment, every finishing touch brings us one step closer to opening our doors and serving the community we love. The anticipation is building, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone in for that first scoop!

We’re getting SO CLOSE now. Stay tuned as we put the finishing touches on everything and announce our official opening date soon.
