It is with joy, a little sadness and a ton of wonderful memories that I say goodbye to Mykel's & Soldotna Inn. It has been my pleasure to own and operate this wonderful hospitality business for the past 22 years. Despite my retiring, the employees have agreed to stay on to provide a smooth transition to new ownership. Mykel's will keep the same menu and hours of operation for the near future, however no alcohol will be served until the liquor license officially transfers which will take some time. If you like to enjoy an adult beverage while dining, we'd be happy to box you up your favorite Mykel's meals to enjoy at home.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to all the employees and guests who have supported me over all the years! Please help me welcome the new owner, Maggie Wang! My hope is that she comes to love Mykel's and Soldotna Inn just the way I do.
