Earlier today. I saw a post on the bad business page..not about us lol! It was somone that had a negative experience at a local office in our town. The poster was reaching out to our community to remember that none of us know what anyone is going through...and to treat eachother kindly. I have been doing coffee for most of my life since being a teen. One of my most favorite things about working in coffee, owning Sea Siren Coffee, is meeting so many people. Moreso, being the 1st person most people interact with once they leave their home in the morning. How I/we interact at the shop...how well we make someone's coffee/drink...very much impacts the start of someone's day. Us coffee shop workers develope these small but significant relationships with our regulars. We can read you like a book when you roll up. We have the opportunity daily to hear your exciting news, your sad life experiences as they happen..we are a part of new life and aganonize through death with some. Between the post I read today, and an interaction with a beloved patron, it just really hit home just how much I value every single person that comes through. How honored I am to be..even a microscopic part of all of your lives. I just want to continue to thank each and every one of you all for being a part of what I'm building, for letting me be a part of your day. I truly hope you all feel treated in a friendly and kind way each and every visit. And as the poster from mentioned post said..I hope we all remember that each of us never knows what one another is going through..and as a community we can have grace and love for one another. Thankyou everyone for another great day!
