~~IMPORTANT NOTICE: 3 DAY STORE CLOSURE for ELECTRICAL HOOK-UP~~

As you’ve seen, we’ve made some great progress on the Food Rite 2.0 renovations, and we’re getting closer and closer to showing our community what we’ve been working so hard on! 🎉

We have another CRITICAL MILESTONE coming up on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2026.⚡️ Our new electric feed needs to be connected to the building’s main electrical system. In order to complete this work safely, we will need to completely shut down:

FOOD RITE Main Store/ DELI, Town Market Liquors and GAS PUMPS
- ALL OPERATIONS WILL BE COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN FOR APPROXIMATELY 2–3 DAYS or Until 9/23/26. We’re hoping to have everything back up and running by Tuesday in the best-case scenario, or Wednesday evening in the worst-case scenario. We truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support while we work through this major transformation.

But trust us… it’s going to be worth the wait! ❤️

🏗️ FOOD RITE 2.0 IS COMING! 🏗️
A new look. A better shopping experience. And the same hometown people you know and love. We can’t wait to welcome you back! 🎉

Store Update

Hello everyone! 👋

Food Rite Grocery side and Deli will remain closed for the rest of week while renovations are in progress.

We are open for Gas and B**r, W**e & liquor next door. To pump gas, you can use your cards at the pumps, or if you need to come inside, to pay with cash or card please use the liquor store entrance on the right side of the building.

Earlier, we had to close one side of the pumps temporarily so our crew could safely complete concrete work and work on painting the canopy. Both sides of the pumps are now open! ⛽️

⚠️ Please drive slowly and carefully as you approach the pumps. There is still concrete work and digging taking place, and we want to keep our customers and hardworking crew safe.
Thank you for your patience and understanding! ❤️

Food Rite 2.0 Is Coming! ❤️🏪

To our wonderful Snow Hill community,

As many of you have noticed, we have officially started the much-awaited grand renovations of your beloved community store — Snow Hill Food Rite!

We’re excited to begin this journey toward Food Rite 2.0 — a refreshed, updated, safer, and more welcoming store for our entire community.

To make this happen the right way, Food Rite will temporarily close next week as we complete an important phase of the renovations. The safety of our customers, employees, and community is always our top priority, and some of this work simply cannot be done safely while the store is open.

Please also keep in mind that the store will need to close a few additional times over the next three months as we move through different phases of the renovation. Each closure is another small step toward bringing Food Rite 2.0 to life. Project is slated to be fully completed by end of November 2026.

We know these temporary closures may be inconvenient, and we sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and support. ❤️

This is more than just a renovation — it’s an investment in our community and in the future of a store that so many of you have made part of your daily lives.
We can’t wait to share the transformation with you over the coming months and welcome you into the new Food Rite 2.0!
Thank you, Snow Hill, for your continued support. Together, we’re building something better for our community. ❤️

Update!!

Barring any unforeseen issues, we are planning to keep the gas pumps open during the upcoming work. For customers who need to pay for gas with cash, we are also working to set up a gas payment/control station inside the liquor store to make things as convenient as possible.

Liquor store next door will stay open
