Hola amigos!

We have something fun for you all at Rio Bravito!There are many great things about Mexican culture, but one of my favorites is el Dia de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead). In this day many Mexican families remember their loved ones that have parted and celebrate their lives. There are many aspects to this tradition and we wanted to share a small piece of it with you guys. We have put up an Ofrenda (offering) at the restaurant for you guys to come check it out. The idea is to remember our loves ones by putting up their pictures and some of their favorite things, this could be food, belongings and other things that they liked. Anyway this is such a rich holiday with a lot of tradition and something we thought you’d enjoy.

Sorry for the long post, but there is sooo much to this celebration. We hope you guys like it and we can’t wait to see you guys soon!

Rio Bravito will be closes until Sunay, we will be back Monday.

As you know we’re a family business and family is the most important thing for us. My grandma is turning 90 and we will be celebrating with her in Mexico, we haven’t been together in many years and we decided to make the sacrifice for her. Part of the Bravito team will be working at Rio Bravo in North Bend so please stop by get some tacos and say hello!
