Outnumbered by horses and cattle, Lisa spent most of her time playing with animals and helping her mother run the family bakery near Magnolia, Texas. It was a huge transition to life in the pacific northwest where the almighty latte rules supreme and salmon were worshiped above all else. But still, Lisa embraced the culture and completed two engineering degrees. After a five year stint as an engi
neer in the Seattle aerospace industry, Lisa embraced her roots to bring southern style baking to the untouched masses of the pacific northwest.
