This!!!… every small business in town is really feeling the squeeze. I thank you for your vulnerability and realness. It isn’t always easy to do!

I’m going to be real and transparent for a minute. I always have been. Y’all are my people.
Small business owners know summer is typically tough and sometimes it’s us and the crickets. Between everyone going on vacations, unpredictable weather and life in general happening it's always slower in the summer months. Ive read other businesses post about how hard it’s been so I know I’m not alone in this but this summer has hit harder than ever!
We face our typical challenges that businesses do, we're juggling the weight of trying to keep up with the trends making sure we have something for everyone WE WANT to make you all feel comfortable and beautiful in an outfit (we love that part), retail space expenses and the ongoing operating of it all, It's a lot. And if we're being honest, sometimes don’t bring in enough to cover those expenses.
No, I’m not sharing this for sympathy. I’ve always been open with my customers/friends. I am sharing it because I know I’m not alone in this and my fellow small businesses owners everywhere are hurting but really want to keep doing what they do bc they their communities and the people in them!
We're all quietly (some publicly) fighting to keep the lights on, to keep our doors open, and to keep showing up for the people who show up for us!
I personally don’t want to be a “remember when” business and I don’t believe other small businesses want that either. We don’t want to be a memory we want to be here for the long run! So all of that just to say visit us downtown, share a post, like a photo but most importantly say a prayer.
A prayer for strength and courage to push through the hard days. For our store owners or all the new restaurants in town to keep going. Check in on your small business friends. They might be smiling through a storm you don't see. Let’s keep the spirit of small town, big hearts, a family and community alive.
We love y'all and appreciate you more than you’ll ever know. Every purchase big or small and even the pop ins to say hi make us do a happy dance! That’s all for now. We have faith that brighter days are ahead! 🤍 ✨
