The last few years have been a challenge for all of us. Masks requirements, social distancing, inflation, supply shortages, labor shortages and the loss of family and friends have all put a stain on our lives. Loss often opens one’s eyes to what’s most important. It makes us count our blessings and look at everything in a different perspective.
At Zimmerhanzel’s BBQ we were blessed to make it through all of these challenges. God gave us the strength to continue to serve throughout these hard times. However, just like all of you, we have reevaluated what’s most important to us right now. Bert & I have made the decision to slow down and spend more time with our kids, grandkids, parents, family and friends.
We would like to thank all of our customers who have supported us the last 42 years. We love you all! It has been a pleasure to serve you and the community. The pandemic’s hardships made us realize we don’t have many more chapters left in the book of life. We both feel this is right and that God will lead us on the right path. So we plan to take some time to refresh our mind, bodies and souls. A great big thank you to all our hardworking loyal employees we have had the pleasure to work alongside. We love and appreciate you all!
