The story of Pita Inn truly embodies that of the American dream. Falah Tabahi, an immigrant from the Middle East came to America determined and passionate about introducing authentic Mediterranean cuisine to the Chicago land area. In 1982 that dream became a reality as Falah and his wife opened Pita Inn Skokie. Falah personally created all the recipes for ALL of t

he menu selections from the falafel, to the hummus, and 'yes' even the 'famous hot sauce'. In order to maintain a high standard of quality and consistency, Falah personally trained every chef in each one of the restaurants to carry on in his footsteps. Today, Falah and his family take pride in successfully running the four locations- Pita Inn Skokie, Pita Inn Wheeling, Pita Inn Glenview, Pita Inn Mundelein, as well as Pita Inn Market and Bakery. Our Philosophy:

Our legendary Business Lunch Special has remained at $4.95 since 1982 that itself is a testament of proving quality food with a generous portion at an unbeatable price! Our humble philosophy since 1982 is simple yet comprehensive. We take care in selecting only the finest quality ingredients to prepare our food daily. Our suppliers are meticulously chosen holding cleanliness and freshness to our high standards of quality. Our employees are trained to inspect every shipment that arrives with extreme care. Any shipment that does not meet are quality check is immediately rejected. Walking into any Pita Inn establishment, whether it is one of our restaurants or the Market, our high esteem for quality service and cleanliness is apparent. From granite tables to the intimate surroundings, we spared no expense, taking care to preserve the Mediterranean ambiance our customers have come to enjoy.
