Whelp, we thought about closing (for the night) as Amanda got verbally (and nearly physically) assaulted last night by an angry little sad man. But we are troopers and we shall persevere!
Oh, I guess I should tell the story shouldn’t I?
After eating dinner with his wife (which he ate every bite) this man decided to start an angry altercation with my wife/head chef while she was cooking other patrons’ dinners…
(Open kitchens have many drawbacks)
He was irate that we ‘lied’ to him seeing as we didn’t have “catch of the day” as it stated on our menu online…
(Side note we don’t have a website and have never had catch of the day)
After escorting him to the door and telling politely to have a nice life Amanda was somewhat “shooketh”
So remember people:
Don’t believe everything you read online
Be nice to everyone
And if you know this toad, rightfully shame him for cocking a fist over a miscommunication that could have been solved in under 5 minutes.
