‼️ A quick head’s up: we’ll be out of town this coming weekend (Friday, August 21st - Sunday, August 23rd) for a family reunion! If you’re feeling sad, don’t worry, we’ve got your back. …Actually, lots of other good humans have your back, and they’re excited to help fuel your weekend adventures! Did you know:
☕️ There’s an adorable lil’ coffee shop in Frederic called Northern Roots ‘n Co.? Yep! Did you also know Marley and crew create all their coffee, espresso, and coldbrew drinks with Crosshatch beans and coldbrew?! YEP! The cutest, coziest space with incredible people… This is your sign to type Frederic into the ol’ Google Maps. (No seriously, open Google Maps and get it going. This’ll be here later). 🚙💨
🧰 There’s a hardware store in Siren that stocks just about EVERYTHING you could need… including Crosshatch beans and granola. Yup, you guessed it - it’s Yourchuck’s. Amanda, Nick, and crew keep a front endcap stocked for easy grabbing, so you can get your Crosshatch fix while also grabbing the fertilizer for the tomato plants, pillows for the guest room, a travel-sized sewing kit, and a case of Spotted Cow. Moo moo, Buckaroo. 🐄🐮🍻😂
✨ There’s a beautiful place just one building down from us called Midwest Mercantile; it needs to be on your list of places to wander, shop, and enjoy. If you haven’t been in yet this year, this is your opportunity! ❤️ Aside from being another great place to grab Crosshatch coffee and granola, Chad and crew have poured so much love and passion into this building… From cooking gadgets to confectionery, popcorn to popover pans, MM is a great local space to spend time in and support. Side note: Heather and West Main & Co Boutique (formerly Thread Shed) is right next door!! When you come to Siren Main Street, stop here too! 💃🏻
🥩 There’s a butcher shop in Siren called Block and Cleaver Artisan Meats, and believe me when I say: we haven’t purchased meat from a regular grocery store in almost two years. 👀 Beef, steak, chicken, brats, hotdogs, bacon (gooood lawd, the bacon), jerky… Adrian and crew have a great thing going, and you need to be a part of it. While you’re there, grab a bag of Crosshatch Signature Roast so you can start your grilling days off right. (Our faves for chicken are the Teriyaki and the Honey BBQ; hotdogs are the Dill and Cheese Curd; beef is the Butcher’s Blend!) 🤤
