It's the return of the Kolsch! This style of beer was traditionally brewed in Cologne, Germany. Historians think its origins date back to 1603 when the city council outlawed lager yeasts. Not to be denied their demand for crispy, straw-colored easy drinking beer, the locals adapted by forcing ale yeasts to ferment in traditionally colder temperatures reserved for the outlawed lager strains. Sometimes I hijack the Facebook account!- When I helped start this company years ago I failed to take into consideration how quickly those near and dear to you grow, evolve, and start lives of their own. I've always said we're a family and community company that just happens to sell awesome beer, food, and parties. Well, today it got real.
