Across the pond, it's officially National Afternoon Tea Week — the one week a year England collectively agrees that tiered stands, fluffy scones, and properly steeped tea deserve the spotlight.

We're keeping the celebration going right here with our Late Summer Afternoon Tea on Sunday, August 23, at Chef Jeni & Company (3638 S. Southeastern Ave). Two seatings to choose from — 10am or 2pm.

$65 per person, all-inclusive (tax and tip already covered, no math required at the table).

Bring the friend who still owes you a "let's catch up" coffee, your mom, your book club — whoever deserves a proper tea experience. Seats are limited, so don't wait on this one. 10am Morning Tea and 2pm Afternoon Tea

Some of what’s on the menu: heirloom tomato and basil tartines, roasted sweet corn and bacon mini quiches, Victoria sponge with raspberry jam, and a whole lot more — plus Strawberry Cloud and Earl Grey Creme hot tea, iced Bonita Peach tea, all from The Spice and Tea Exchange downtown.

Join us on Sunday, August 23 for one of two seasonal Tea Parlour Experiences, each featuring its own thoughtfully curated menu inspired by the best flavors of late summer.

Morning Tea • 10:00 AM
A brunch-inspired tea featuring French toast bread pudding, smoked salmon, heirloom tomatoes, fresh-baked scones, beautiful pastries, and a few seasonal surprises.

Afternoon Tea • 2:00 PM
Our traditional afternoon tea with delicate sandwiches, classic English scones, seasonal sweets, fresh fruit, and a menu that celebrates the flavors of late summer.

Whether you join us for Morning Tea or Afternoon Tea, you’ll be treated to beautiful food, endless cups of tea, and the warm hospitality that makes every Tea Parlour special.

There may even be a few surprises waiting for you.

Last night’s floral event at .house was the perfect setting for something a

Mother’s Day Tea is filling quickly… and each seating offers something a little different. 💐

✨ 10:00–11:30 | Breakfast Tea
A morning-inspired three-tiered menu featuring petite croissants (vanilla bean, dark chocolate,
and butter), honey Greek yogurt with granola and fresh berries, and brunch favorites like Eggs
Benedict with honey ham, smashed avocado and feta toast, and smoked salmon cucumber
bagel bites.

Warm homemade scones, buttermilk pancakes, and brioche French toast — served with maple
syrup and vanilla-lemon mascarpone — make this a cozy, celebratory start to Mother’s Day.

✨ 12:00–1:30 & 2:00–3:30 | Afternoon Tea
A classic Afternoon Tea experience with warm, fresh-from-the-oven scones (plain and fruit)
served with strawberry jam and Devonshire cream, alongside delicate sweets like petite Victoria
sponge with fresh berries, lemon curd tarts, dark chocolate raspberry croissants, and assorted
shortbreads.
