Nobody really tells you this part before you open a business.
You hear about the freedom and getting to build something that’s yours… but not enough about the let downs, the mistakes, the hard decisions, the money, the stress and the days you wonder what you got yourself into. 😂😭
But I wouldn’t trade it.
There is so much to be grateful for, even in the moments where nothing seems to work.
I’ll never take this coffee dream of mine for granted and I’ll never be able to express my gratitude to the people I get to spend my days with 🫶🏻

Our new menu made its debut Friday and we are pumped!

POV: You schedule routine machine maintenance because you’re a responsible business owner. ☺️

Then two hours later your espresso machine is being sent to the shop for a little vacation. ☠️🫠

BUT WE HAVE A LOANER ON THE WAY AS WE SPEAK. WE ARE FINE. EVERYONE REMAIN CALM. ☕️😭

This is the life of owning a business. You can plan and have systems in place, and your equipment can still wake up one morning and choose violence.

So cheers to another completely normal, definitely-not-stressful Tuesday at the coffee shop. 🫠

Shoutout to our tech, Rob, at Espress Tech! If you own a coffee machine in the PNW- he’s out of Centralia and super amazing!

Oktoberfest weekend recap: we came, we caffeinated, we absolutely lost our marbles.
😂🍻☕️

Record-breaking sales? CHECK.
German Chocolate Mochas flying out the window? CHECK.
Burritos and pastries disappearing faster than we could stock them? CHECK.
Literally broke the cash drawer because apparently we weren’t prepared for THAT kind of weekend? CHECK. 😂

And because God has a sense of humor… the inspector decided our busiest day was the PERFECT time to stop by. No big deal 🫠🤣

Basically, if it could add a little chaos to the weekend, it did.
But somehow our team handled every bit of it, kept the drinks moving, kept the smiles on, and absolutely CRUSHED it. I’m so freaking proud of them.

We are exhausted. We are probably still hearing espresso machines in our sleep. And we are incredibly grateful. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who came out and made Oktoberfest one for the books. You guys showed UP and we are so grateful 🥹🫶🏻
