Hi everyone,

We're sharing an update on where things stand with the restaurant. As you know, our building tragically burned down in March. We've hit a roadblock: payments from the insurance company have been stopped until the landlord starts repairs, and unfortunately, that hasn't happened yet.

We're now looking into legal options to hopefully speed things up. It's a frustrating situation, as we're still paying rent on a building we can't use. We'll keep you posted and we want to thank you all for your support. It means the world to us.

Recently, M&T Cafe and Bar experienced a devastating fire that forced them to shut down. This beloved local spot has been more than just a place to eat and drink.

We're writing to you with some difficult news. Tonight, our restaurant experienced a fire. Thankfully, everyone is safe, but the damage requires us to close temporarily.
We will be closed tomorrow, and for the foreseeable future, as we assess the situation and begin the necessary repairs.
We understand this is disappointing, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. We appreciate your understanding and support during this challenging time.

Our fire alarm has been going off on its own recently. Unfortunately this means we must temporarily close the restaurant while we work with the fire department to get this fixed. We hope to see you all again soon once this issue has been resolved. Stay tuned for more updates.
