Still taking this one in. ☕️❤️

This past September, La Finca was featured in Washingtonian something we never imagined would happen when we started serving coffee out of our little garage in Long Branch.

We’re incredibly grateful to our community for showing up, supporting us, sharing our story, and believing in what we’re building. To Montgomery Housing Partnership and Chris thank you for trusting us with this little space inside the garage and giving us the opportunity to turn it into something that feels like home!

And to Long Branch Main Street gracias por recibirnos, apoyarnos y dejarnos ser parte de esta comunidad que ahora La Finca Coffee y A Toda Madre Roasters llamamos casa! 🏠

This feature belongs to all of you as much as it does to us because we all worked really hard for it!

Muchas gracias! 🙏🏽

nevinmartell you made this possible. Thank you for believing in us and appreciating what we do!

5 years…

From a simple idea and love for coffee, to a community that has become part of our story.

There have been long days, big dreams, lessons, changes, and so many beautiful moments in between.

Gracias to every single person who has supported La Finca, shared a coffee with us, and believed in what we’re building.

5 years later, we’re still here. We are still growing, learning, and making coffee with all the intention, care and passion.

And how Mami Norma always says… Y vamos por más!

Tía Raquel’s Horchata.

Hey everyone! It’s Jenny here 👋🏽
Meet mi Tia Raquel!
She is truly super special and we are so grateful for her.
Honestly, writing this caption on a post about her seems unreal because this is the first time ever she’s let me post her on social media. Así que gracias Tía por complacer a su sobrina favorita 😂

Growing up I have vivid memories of always visiting her in El Salvador almost yearly. When me and Josué started traveling it was such a pleasure to be able to introduce them to each other. And it’s been a blessing to be able to connect with her and her husband through stories of their experiences in fincas de café.

The first time we travelled, mi tía and my mom created a recipe of horchata that we brought back and featured for a limited time at our pop ups. This time around, her and my mom connected again and created another recipe based on the local ingredients she was able to find in el mercado.

This came just in time for us to release for our 5th anniversary. La Finca means everything to us and being able to bring a piece of my childhood and family to you is truly so special beyond words.

Tía Raquel’s Horchata will be made water based for everyone to enjoy. It will be available just in a cup over ice, enjoyed with espresso, or with matcha. This is an extremely limited release but we hope that the time we are able to feature it you enjoy it and that it transports you to El Salvador 🇸🇻

Gracias Tía Raquel por permitirme mostrarla, por hacernos esa deliciosa horchata, y más que todo por su amor y apoyo. Le agradezco tanto con todo el corazón. Espero verla pronto. La quiero mucho!

Conociendo a Don Abraham Elias y Don Marlon Aguilar, los productores de Finca La Limonera en el departamento de Chalatenango, El Salvador 🇸🇻

We introduce you to our new coffee!

La Limonera is such a special place. A place where passion and respect plays a big role. Why? Because Don Abraham and Don Marlon have worked in ways that just make sense.

Don Abraham has worked in his Fincas for so long, that most of the vegetation you see covering the coffee trees have been planted by himself and Don Marlon joined (many years after of course 😝) and brought a different kind of face to this beautiful operation. Passion and determination.
Don Marlon has built the entire beneficio or Coffee mill. From the African drying raised beds to his very well elaborated coffee fermentation space where our new Pacamara Natural Anaerobic was resting for 94hrs.

And now, that coffee is here and we are honored to brew it and showcase Finca La Limonera, Don Abraham Elias and Don Marlon Aguilar.

Why La Limonera?… watch as Jenny is holding lemons the size of an orange! They are found all throughout La Finca and they are spectacularly bright, and sweet.

This Pacamara is a very personal coffee to us.
Gracias A Toda Madre Roasters your effort and passion with connecting us all with amazing and beautiful people and coffees is what makes this beautiful partnership something special.

Enjoy a beautiful and raw moment with La Finca Coffee at Finca La Limonera.

Arriba Chalatenango!

Taking a little break. 🇸🇻🤎

We’ll be closed next weekend as the La Finca crew takes some much needed time off. We’re heading to El Salvador to recharge, spend some time back home, and while we’re there… we may be bringing a little something back with us. Something that’ll make its way onto the La Finca menu very soon 👀

WE WILL BE BACK FOR SERVICE THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND (Saturday, September 19th)

And truly, thank you for continuing to show up for us, weekend after weekend. Every coffee, every conversation, and every familiar face means more to us than you know. We’re so grateful for this little community growing around La Finca and for everyone who continues to be part of it!

In the meantime, come by this weekend, get your goodies, and restock your coffee shelves at home with our beans!

Nos vemos pronto. 🇸🇻🤎

This little garage has slowly grown into a place that is more than just a coffee spot. It’s becoming a place for people to slow down, connect, and feel taken care of.

It’s our home. And we take care of our home.

For now, we will take a brief pause from serving you. We will do our best to be transparent about everything that is stopping us from serving you. Just know now that is nothing related with our product but simply build up and logistics needed to be modified on the space to accommodate and comply with regulatory requirements.

We are still a pop up business that will eventually transition to a permanent location at 8807 Flower Ave. But build ups take time, planning and lots of money; but we are grateful to have your support, our communities support, our families, our friends.

For now, there are ways you can still support our small business!
Go to our bio and click on our website!
We offer nationwide shipping and local deliveries of our coffee beans! Josué will be delivering to your door so make sure you ask him for some coffee tips 😉

Thank you for your patience, for your time, your love, your kindness, your unconditional support, your understanding, and for making us part of your daily lives.

We’ll keep you posted on any updates.
We’ll be back soon!
