Dear Valued Customers,
Since my Dad, Kim Antonelli, founded Holy Cow Packing Plant in 1982, we have been proud to serve our local farming and hunting community with dedication and care for over four decades. My Dad, Kim, started with a small shop and built it into a cornerstone of our community. Your trust and loyalty have been the heart of our family business, and we are deeply grateful for every customer, partner, and community member who has been part of our journey.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the difficult decision to close Holy Cow Packing Plant effective June 10, 2025. This decision comes after significant challenges, including my Dad's, severe complications from COVID in 2021, which nearly took his life and forced his retirement, as well as ongoing labor shortages.
We deeply regret that this closure means we will be unable to fulfill appointments scheduled after June 10, 2025.
To those of you with bookings in the coming months, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment this causes. If you need contact information for other meat processors, please reach out to us and we will gladly provide a list of providers.
Though we must close our doors, we remain hopeful that Holy Cow Packing Plant could continue under new ownership. Our business, including its equipment, and 43-year legacy, is for sale. If you or someone you know is interested in preserving this vital service for our farming and hunting community, please contact us for more details.
We cannot thank you enough for your support since 1982. Your patronage has meant the world to my dad, and our family. We’re truly sorry for any disruption and will always cherish our shared memories with this community.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Kim, Lanetta and the Holy Cow family
