It is with great disappointment that I share we have closed Sonny's Pizzeria effective immediately.

I am grateful for all the people I have met during this part of my life and what started as a dream of mine. Lots of actions and circumstances have led me to this decision that I will not share. Everyone that supported me in Sidell and Chuck in Georgetown will never be forgotten. Thank you to those that supported Sonny's.

And people wonder why or ask questions about our Sidell location we bust our hump since 2014 and especially the last 6 months to try to keep this alive and I pull away to this today down the street from the restaurant. Doesn't people have anything better to do with their time then destroy personal property? As you can tell this was pretty deep in the ground and it was surrounded by bricks so this was not just some kind of random accident. Someone found it amusing and even took all of the lettering off of the sign itself to a degree. I think Julie and I are ready for a change and to get away from people like this it's going to be a change for the better. People disgust me
