Smoke, cacao, and corn—all in one glass.
Our Mezcalita de Cacao brings together Nuku Mezcal, Oaxacan cacao blanco, and blue corn pinole, a traditional ingredient with roots that stretch back centuries in Indigenous Mexico.
Fun fact: Pinole was a staple food of the Rarámuri (Tarahumara) people of northern Mexico, renowned for their ability to run incredible distances through the Copper Canyon. Made from roasted and ground corn, pinole provided portable nourishment and sustained energy, becoming an essential part of their culture and endurance.
The result is a cocktail layered with smoky mezcal, delicate cacao notes, and the subtle toasted sweetness of blue corn—a sip of Mexico’s rich culinary heritage.
Available now at El Cabo Verde. 🍸🌽✨
