❄️ Quick Weather Update from Chianti – We’re Open Today, Closed Starting Tomorrow ❄️
Ciao, our amazing Chianti family and Shreveport friends ❤️,
With the big winter storm moving in tonight—bringing freezing rain, sleet, possible ice accumulations, and hazardous roads—we’ve made the call to stay open today (Friday, January 23) so you can enjoy a warm meal before things get dicey.
Come join us today while you can! We’re here serving up your favorites until our regular closing time.
However, starting tomorrow (Saturday, January 24) we will be closed until further notice to keep our team and guests safe during the worst of the storm and the extreme cold that follows. Travel is expected to become very hazardous, with dangerous icing possible across the ArkLaTex through Sunday and bitterly cold temps into early next week.
We’ll monitor conditions closely (roads, power outages, forecasts) and update here, on stories, and our website as soon as we know when we can safely reopen—hoping it’s not too long!
In the meantime:
Stay off the roads if possible tonight and over the weekend
Prepare for ice and freezing temps: drip faucets, protect pipes, stock up on essentials
Check on neighbors and stay warm!
Thank you for your understanding—we hate closing, but safety first. We can’t wait to welcome you back for some cozy Italian comfort food soon. Stay safe out there, Shreveport! 🔥🏠
