May 12th 2025.... One year ago yesterday, we reopened the doors to Show Low Cafe after one of the hardest seasons of my life and business.
What many people didn’t see were the long days, sleepless nights, uncertainty, setbacks, tears, financial stress, and the fear of not knowing if we’d ever fully make it back. After being closed for 18 months, I had a choice: give up or rebuild. I chose to rebuild.
During that time, we poured everything we had into remodeling and creating a place that truly felt like home for our community. Reopening those doors one year ago was emotional, scary, exciting, and something I’ll never forget.
This past year hasn’t been perfect, but it has been filled with growth, lessons, support, laughter, friendships, and so much love from this community. Every meal shared, every family gathering, every kind word, every review, every customer who walked through our doors — it all mattered more than you know.
To my staff — thank you for showing up, working hard, believing in the vision, and helping create the atmosphere that makes this place special.
To our loyal customers and community — thank you for supporting local, supporting my dream, and continuing to choose us day after day.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping keep this dream alive. One year later, we’re still here — stronger, wiser, and more grateful than ever. ❤️
Here’s to many more years of good food, laughter, memories, and making Show Low Cafe your home away from home.
Love,
Cody 💕
