23 rotating lines of craft beer, cocktails, wine, mead, cider and more to enjoy in the tap room or in refillable full and half growlers to go. A unique and intimate space where you can learn about beer and have a great conversation. The one-of-a-kind interior was designed and built by the owner with reclaimed materials from his family farm.

🚧 Oakland Avenue is getting closer to normal 🚧

Southbound Oakland Avenue is open again between Capitol and Glendale — a major milestone in Shorewood’s massive reconstruction project.

So when will it all be done?

📅 Substantial completion: Nov. 25
📅 Final completion/restoration: Dec. 31

Crews are now paving the west side of Oakland, including parking lanes, intersections and driveways. Elmdale Court west of Oakland is scheduled to reopen Monday, Sept. 28.

The roughly $5 million project includes a rebuilt roadway, utility improvements, traffic signal work and other infrastructure upgrades.

In the meantime, Oakland Avenue businesses could still use some love. The corridor remains packed with great local spots like North Shore Boulangerie, Stone Creek Coffee, Fiddleheads Coffee Roasters, Cloud Red, Draft & Vessel, Milwaukee Brat House - Shorewood, Colectivo Coffee, BlackBear Children's Boutique, Performance Running Outfitters, The Establishment Salon, and more.

On October 10, 2014, we opened a tiny 350-square-foot b**r tasting room. Twelve years of b**rs, neighbors, conversations, and community followed.

Join us exactly 12 years from our opening date on October 10, 2026, to celebrate our anniversary of the original Draft & Vessel.

We open and noon and will party all day. We’ll have some free grub from 5PM - 7PM, Tim is already scoping out some special b**rs to tap, and we’ll have a slideshow going of all the memories made over the years. (DM us your photos — we want to see them!)
