I just want to say, thank you all for the support that you have shown our employee Caleigh during her time away in grief. Caleigh wrote something for you all… ❤️
To Mauve Cocktail Lounge and all of you who supported:
There are no words that feel big enough to express the gratitude I have in my heart.
To every single person who donated to my GoFundMe, shared it, sent a message, said a prayer, or simply thought of my family during this unimaginable time, thank you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Losing my mom has been the greatest heartbreak I have ever experienced. The last few weeks have felt like a blur of grief, disbelief, and trying to find my footing in a world that suddenly feels so different without her in it. During that time, your generosity has been a light in some of my darkest days.
Every donation, no matter the amount, reminded me that my family and I are not carrying this burden alone. It wasn’t just financial support; it was compassion, kindness, and love. It was people choosing to stand beside us when we needed it most, and I will never forget that.
My mom spent her life giving to others without ever expecting anything in return. She had the biggest heart and would have been deeply humbled to know so many people showed that same love and generosity to her family. Knowing that her life touched so many people brings me comfort beyond words.
Please know that your support has lifted an incredible weight from my shoulders, allowing me to focus on honoring my mom’s life, being present for my children, and taking each day one step at a time. That is a gift I can never fully repay.
I truly hope each of you knows how much your kindness has meant to me. I will carry this love and generosity with me forever, and I hope one day I can pay it forward in honor of my mom and in honor of all of you who helped us through one of the hardest moments of our lives.
From my entire heart, thank you. Thank you for your generosity, your prayers, your encouragement, and for reminding me that even in the deepest grief, there is still so much goodness in this world.
With endless love and gratitude,
Caleigh
