Dear January 2025 Self,

You’re going to go through it in 2025. God will illuminate things that needed to be released as well as healed and you will lose people that you thought you wouldn’t, but your faith in him, your undeniable strength from the unwavering love you have for your kids and the support system that he will build for you will help bring you through it. All of the things you prayed for, you will find within yourself.

The Power of Serenity has always been deep within you, because you know to your core who you are as a person. You just forgot or allowed others to make you second guess your worth. Your heart and your mind as well as your faith will be tested.

You will find the greatest peace of all by releasing the weight of stress that you have been carrying for all of these years and truly trusting that what is meant to be for you, will come to fruition naturally and beautifully.

In 2026, I begin to see you more clearly. I am learning more and more about you each day. Those goals and dreams that we set for ourselves years before but kept putting off, it’s time now.

I appreciate everything that you’ve carried and how strong you’ve always been. But you don’t need to be strong anymore. God has brought you through it time and time again. Your future is ready for you to create, Baby Girl. 💕

Who? What? Why?

WHO? My name is Jamie and I started my 1st job as a waitress when I was 13. I remember sipping on decaf coffee with my grandpa while eating oatmeal cookies and it was such a bonding experience. I moved into my 1st apartment at 18 and I started working at Starbucks where my obsession with coffee grew even stronger. I moved my family back to my hometown in Texas and I decided that I wanted to get out of Property Management after 14 years and start a local Coffee Shop. I am so excited to partner with local vendors and farmers as well as offer an Entrepreneurship Program for Teenagers to teach them about starting their own business.

WHAT? We're all about supporting local businesses and growing our community! We've had the privilege of hosting Vendor Markets and we want to support local Entrepreneurs to turn their dream business into a reality.

WHY? Because we are HUGE Coffee & Tea Nerds who LIVE for Coffee, Tea, and Delicious Pastries and want to contribute something delicious and awesome to our community.

Did you hear...?! Something's Brewing in Shiner Tx...!

I've been on the hunt for the highest quality equipment so that I can provide the best consistency everyday to my future customers at Brewed Awakening Cafe and I am so incredibly grateful to have found this amazing Espresso Machine today.

We're still putting some work into our little pink coffee shop and we're pushing for May 1st opening, so stay tuned for free tasting days while we test out our equipment and processes!!! 🤎☕️

Here's a sneak peek at the progress of Brewed Awakening Cafe. I truly love my little space and it's coming along slowly but surely. I can see it's potential and it's going to be so beautiful, welcoming and cozy when it's done. I have a very special surprise to make my floors "POP" and I can't wait to start that project.

Yesterday was an unforgettable experience at Texas Grounds Coffee Company. Brewed Awakening Cafe was invited to learn about the coffee bean harvesting and roasting process from start to finish. Phil and Jennifer gave us such an in-depth presentation. I absolutely loved this whole experience!! Of course, I geek out on coffee knowledge like such a nerd 🤓 lol. ☕️🤎

Also, being able to select my own beans from different regions to watch being roasted right in front of me so that I could create my own unique blend for Brewed Awakening Cafe was truly amazing. The smell from the roasted beans is incredibly intoxicating, and I really wish it could be bottled and captured in a candle, perfume, or a room spray because the aroma from freshly roasted coffee beans is just heavenly. It's so amazing how the coffee bean aroma changes so drastically through the roasting process from a grass, hay-like smell, to almost a kettle corn smell to the amazingly aromatic Caramel and Chocolate notes of Fully Roasted Coffee Beans.☕️🤎

Did I mention that they have the most beautiful 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath AirBnb right above their Coffee Shop?! The building is over 200 years old with so much charm and they did such a fantastic renovation to make it as beautiful as it is today!! We highly recommend checking out this cute Bakery, Coffee Shop and Airbnb if you are ever near Helotes!!
