Homemade Vanilla Batch number two went into the cabinet today. We did one full size double strength vodka and a smaller pint of a tester with wh***ey. These are going into their 6-12 month hibernation. We’ll have these available to you next summer. Batch number one should be ready for Christmas gift giving.

It’s national dessert day! What’s your favorite dessert? It’s a hard choice for me, but probably s’mores cookies. Mom loves a good chocolate cake, Dad is all about anything chocolate.

We loved reading all the guesses yesterday! Here’s what we made. Brown butter chocolate chip and toffee cookies.

Here’s what we were hinting at. If these taste half as good as the dough smells they are going to be absolutely amazing! This batch made 15 so we’ll have some available for $5 (they’re a BIG and rich) cookie. We made the brown butter and toffee from scratch then carefully blended it with other goodness. They’ll be baked tomorrow morning and we’ll have about ten available. Don’t wait! These will go fast.
