Sometimes you just want something fresh that still feels like a real meal.

Our Harvest Moon Salad has quickly become one of my favorite things on the menu. Seasoned chicken, crisp apples, feta, pumpkin seeds, a drizzle of honey, and our homemade signature dressing all come together so well.

It’s fresh, filling, a little sweet, a little savory — and such a good change of pace when you’re craving something other than your usual lunch.

One of my favorite things about our weekly specials is that they give our baristas a chance to have a little fun and create something of their own. This week, they wanted to make things feel a little more magical, so they built the Butter B**r Energy Spritzer around butterscotch, caramel and marshmallow flavors.

They finish it with sweet cold foam, which gives it that creamy, dessert-like feel without losing the energy spritzer base.

And there’s something else I love about our Energy Spritzers. The caffeine comes naturally from green coffee beans, so while the flavors are playful, the base is still something we feel really good about serving.

I love when our baristas get creative like this. It makes the weekly specials feel a little more personal — and this one definitely brought some magic to the menu.

This crew keeps us laughing.

There is a lot that goes into a busy day at Java Moon Station, but one of the best parts is the people. The conversations, the teamwork, the drive-thru rushes, the inside jokes… and yes, the coffee.

Some days are busy. Some days are a little chaotic. But there is usually a lot of laughter somewhere in the middle of it all.

And yes… the shift drink is a pretty good perk too.

What do our baristas actually order?

We asked a few of our baristas to share their favorite Java Moon Station drinks, and I love how different every answer is.

Today Java Moon Station and Java Moon Downtown are both closed for Employee Appreciation Day, so it felt like the perfect day to share a little more of the people behind the counter.

These are the people making your coffee, working the drive-thru, learning your order, greeting you in the lobby, keeping things moving on busy mornings, and helping make Java Moon Station what it is.

We’re really grateful for this team, and today we’re taking a little time to step away from the shop, spend time together, and appreciate the people who do so much every day.

Both locations are closed today, Sunday, September 27, and we’ll be back tomorrow.

This is exactly why we wanted Java Moon Station to be part of Venture & Vibe.

For us, the Station has always been about creating another place in Sheridan where people can gather, connect, and find a few things that make them feel good along the way.

Today we got to bring some of that outside the shop — our Chagaccino mushroom coffee, Cran-Apple Energy Spritzer made with natural caffeine from green coffee beans, and a few Java Moon favorites.

But the best part was getting to visit with people, share samples, answer questions, and be surrounded by so many local businesses that care about community, health, and wellness.

This Sunday, we’re closing Java Moon Station for something really important — our people.

Relationships have always mattered to us. The relationships we build with our customers, within our community, and especially with the people who work beside us every day.

Our team is such a big part of what makes Java Moon Station what it is. They are the ones making the coffee, greeting you at the drive-thru, preparing your food, learning your orders, keeping things moving behind the scenes, and creating the experience you have every time you stop in.

So this Sunday, September 27th, Java Moon Station and Java Moon Downtown will both be closed for Employee Appreciation Day. We’re taking the day to spend time together, celebrate our team, and simply say thank you for everything they do.

Building a strong team and a strong community go hand in hand for us, and we never want to lose sight of that.

And as our Java Moon team continues to grow, we are currently looking for a barista and a General Manager. If being part of a place that values people, relationships, teamwork, and community sounds like something you’d like to be part of, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re taking Java Moon to Wyo Venture & Vibe this Saturday!

We’re excited to be part of and bring a little bit of Java Moon along with us.

We’ll be sampling two drinks we’re really excited for people to try:

Our Chagaccino — we start with our coffee and add a functional blend of wild-foraged chaga mushroom, cacao and cinnamon. Chaga is an adaptogen often used to support stress response, immunity and smoother energy — and no, it doesn’t taste like mushrooms. It has a rich, slightly chocolatey flavor.

Our Cran-Apple Energy Spritzer — bright, refreshing and naturally caffeinated with energy from green coffee beans. It’s a fun alternative when you want a little boost without reaching for a traditional energy drink.

We’re also bringing some of our favorite grab-and-go items — energy bites, breads, muffins, whole bean coffee, pressed juices, energy shots, merchandise and more.

If you’ve been curious about mushroom coffee or want to try a different kind of energy drink, come find us, sample both and say hi.

There’s something about fall that makes me want to slow everything down a little.

A cool morning. A favorite coffee. A few extra minutes before the day really gets going.

That’s what I love about this season at Java Moon Station. You can feel the shift in the shop — the drinks change, the bakery case starts looking more like fall, and somehow coffee just feels a little more special this time of year.

And even with the drive-thru, I love that JMS still has that same sense of community. Familiar faces pulling through, people meeting inside, stopping on their way to work or school — all those little everyday moments are what make the Station feel like part of Sheridan.

There’s just something about that first coffee of the day.

Maybe it’s watching the espresso pour. Maybe it’s the first sip. Maybe it’s walking into a place where you already know what you’re ordering — or pulling through the drive-thru because you have exactly three minutes to spare.

Whatever your coffee routine looks like, we love getting to be a little part of it.

Our downtown Java Moon location is right in the heart of Sheridan — the original spot so many of you already know and love.

Then we have Java Moon Station on Coffeen Avenue, where you can come inside or make it easy and grab your coffee through the drive-thru.

Sheridan has a lot going on today.

Born in a Barn. The Mane Event. Mountain West Book Fest. People are riding, shopping, reading, running around town, meeting friends, and trying to fit a whole lot into one Saturday.

And some Saturdays, you really don’t have time for an extra stop.

That’s where the Station comes in.

Pull through the drive-thru on your way out. Grab coffee before you head across town. Pick up breakfast because you left the house without eating. Or swing through in the middle of the day when you need something quick before the next thing on your list.

We’ve got the espresso going, breakfast and lunch ready, baked goods in the case, and a crew here to keep you moving.

No matter what Sheridan has you doing today, we hope you get out and enjoy it.
