To all the patrons, fans, friends, and BBQ Sauce connoisseurs that have supported THE SAUCE by Ranch Hand BBQ - THANK YOU for all your support.

During the year of product development and the last two years of sales THE SAUCE has done very well. Over 1,000 bottles were sold each year of production! During that time I have learned a lot about product development, marketing, navigating regulatory actions, sales, quality assurance, branding, and what it takes to be one with your customers.

One of the other lessons during this product-to-market journey is that a product's price point must be able to sustain costs, revenue, and profit. Sadly this past year my costs of materials has escalated more than my willingness to compromise quality or raise my pricepoint.

I have always used the highest quality ingredients and I believe the taste reflected that. Unfortunately I cannot balance the cost of the ingredients with the revenues needed to sustain the business.

I am sorry to report I will be placing THE SAUCE by Ranch Hand BBQ production on hold until I can find better volume pricing, similar quality ingredients at a lower cost, or form a contract with a distributer to elevate sales volume.

Again, thank you all for your support, encouragement, and friendship. I cannot tell you how much fun the experience was and to hear of all the clever ideas for THE SAUCE.

If you are in Sheridan, WY August 12th stop by the "Taste of Sheridan". Ranch Hand BBQ will be sampling THE SAUCE! Mmmmm...!

This weekend, mix 2lbs of 80/20 ground chuck, 2lbs of 90/10 ground sirloin, a quarter cup of THE SAUCE and leave it covered in the refridgerator for about 2 hours.

Fire up a charcoal grill, cook the burgers until they are about 130 degrees, slather on more of THE SAUCE and top it with a big slice of garlic chedder.

Butter up and grill some whole wheat buns until toasted, put them all together once the cheese is melted and you will be in Ranch Hand BBQ heaven. Enjoy!
