Our Story
Alpine Coffee is at it’s heart, a coffee roasting company that cares deeply where our coffee comes from. We travel primarily to Cameroon, Africa every year to work with 100's of farmers who grow their coffee and sell to us. These farmers can sell their coffee to anyone they like, but after years of us paying the farmers more than 10% for their coffee than anyone else, the farmers are very loyal to us, the same as we are to them. After we buy the coffee from the farmers, we need to mill it. We have a mill in Bali, Cameroon, Africa where we prep and process the coffee. We have about 75 local workers who work for us on a seasonal basis. During the time we have these seasonal employees, we provide a wage that is 3 times higher than the average wage in Cameroon. We also provide these employees 2 meals a day, doctor visits, and transportation to and from work. The people who work for us seasonally are the same people we've had working for us for 8 years. After our passionate seasonal employees help dry, sort and pick the coffee beans, we must ship them to Colorado, USA. After 8 weeks of the coffee being out to sea, it makes it to our warehouse in Englewood, Colorado where we roast the coffee in small batches to ensure we keep the best possible flavor inside the coffee bean. After it's roasted, we take the finished product to our customers to enjoy. We literally handle the coffee every step of the way. There are ZERO middle men involved, which ultimately means the price of coffee to our customer will be much lower than those companies who use middle men.
Coffee is all about love, and when everyone is treated with love across the world, the coffee will always prove to be better than the rest
